What is the plot of Belgravia: The Next Chapter?

Initially intended as a limited series, Belgravia is an adaptation of Fellowes’ novel of the same name. However, a follow-up series was confirmed two years after the premiere of the original show, expanding its storyline via a different timeline and introducing new characters.

In the sequel, Susan Trenchard’s affair with the villainous John Bellasis produced a son, Frederick Trenchard. Unaware that his birth was the result of a scandalous affair, Frederick grew up to be troubled, sensing that something was amiss in his family. His chaotic childhood has made the third Lord Trenchard deeply insecure, compromising his romance with Clara Dunn.

Created by Helen Edmundson with Fellowes serving as an executive producer, The Next Chapter also features the return of original cast: Alice Eve as Susan Trenchard and Richard Goulding as Oliver Trenchard.
