What is the plot of A Working Man?

A Working Man follows Levon Cade (Jason Statham), a former Black ops soldier who has left behind his decorated military career to live a regular life as a construction worker.

Finding a new family in his boss Joe Garcia (Michael Peña), his wife Carla (Noemi Gonzalez), their daughter Jenny (Arianna Rivas), and his colleagues, Levon puts his violent past behind him.

But when Jenny is abducted by human traffickers, the ex-military man is forced to reignite his exceptional set of skills and thirst for vengeance to bring her back home. His search for the young girl, however, exposes an underground corruption that involves some of the most powerful people in the world.

In addition to Statham, Peña, Gonzalez, and Rivas, the film also features David Harbour (Stranger Things, A Violent Night), Jason Flemyng (Pennyworth, A Town Called Malice), and Emmett J. Scanlan (The Tower, Fool Me Once). The rest of the cast includes Eve Mauro, Maximilian Osinski, Max Croes, Kristina Poli, Andrej Kaminsky, Isla Gie, and Alana Boden.

The movie is directed by David Ayer, who also worked with Statham in The Beekeeper, and co-wrote the screenplay with Sylvester Stallone. Statham, Stallone, and Ayer are producers alongside Chris Long, John Friedberg, Bill Block, and  Kevin King Templeton.
