The Women’s Euro 2022 tournament is set to kick off in just a couple of months with group stage action starting on 6 July when host nation England take on Austria. The groups have all been drawn and the stadiums are ready for all the action.
It’s been a long time coming, too, with the last tournament taking place back in 2017 – with this event delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic – when Netherlands defeated Denmark 4-2 in the final.
With the teams finally confirmed – with Portugal taking Russia’s place after they were excluded due to the war in Ukraine (Russia defeated Portugal 1-0 over two legs in the play off between the two nations), all focus can turn to the football.
We’re going to run through the schedule for the group stage and the finals, and where you can catch all the action live and on demand in Australia.
