New British period drama The Hardacres is coming to Australia in early March.
From the creators of All Creatures Great and Small comes a family saga following a working-class family whose lives drastically change after making an unexpected fortune. Finding themselves in a massive country estate and now part of the upper class, the Hardacres navigate their new status while facing the joys and tribulations of their new lives.

Set in Yorkshire in the 1890s, the new drama follows the titular family: parents Sam and Mary Hardacre and their three children Joe, Liza and Harry. When an accident causes Joe to lose his job, the entire family is left on the verge of destitution and homelessness.
Despite the hardship, the Hardacres perseveres and eventually finds themselves wealthy after a risky business venture pays off. Fresh from the fish dock, the family moves to an enormous country estate where they navigate their new lives as one of Yorkshire’s wealthiest.
Only the world of aristocrats and high society is not as delightful as it seems, realising that being catapulted high into the social ladder comes with complexities and sorrows.
Created by Amy Roberts and Loren McLaughlan, best known for their work in the period drama All Creatures Great and Small, the new series stars Claire Cooper (Hollyoaks), Julie Graham (Taggart), Liam McMamahon (The Secret), Adam Little (Coronation Street), Shannon Lavelle, and Zak Ford-Williams.
