Filmmaker John Crowley, best known for directing the film Brooklyn starring Saoirse Ronan, is giving us a new film to swoon over featuring two Academy Award-nominees in their debut on-screen collaboration. Garfield and Pugh play Tobias and Almut, who, after a surprise encounter, start new lives together. Their love story, presented in a nonlinear structure, spans a decade of romance, grief, and exploration.

What is the plot of We Live in Time?

Their story is told over the course of a decade, which includes a difficult truth they have to overcome together. As they confront a path challenged by the reins of time, they must take the unconventional route and discover new ways to explore life together.
