What is the plot of Creature Commandos?

DCU’s first ever television series is set after the events of Peacemaker Season 1, with Amanda Waller no longer allowed by Congress to use human prisoners to perform extremely dangerous black ops for the Advanced Research Group United Support (A.R.G.U.S.).

But knowing Waller, who has no problems crossing lines when it comes to achieving her goals, she is bound to find another way to save the world. Enter the “Creature Commandos”, a team of monsters with General Rick Flag Sr. (Frank Grillo) at the helm. This group of outcasts is Waller’s last resort to take on missions deemed too precarious for humans.

The team consists of Nina Mazursky (Zoë Chao), The Bride (Indira Varma), Doctor Phosphorus (Alan Tudyk), Eric Frankenstein (David Harbour), and The Weasel and G.I. Robot, both voiced by Sean Gunn. Additional cast members include Steve Agee as John Economos, Waller’s sort of second in command, Maria Bakalova as Princess Ilana Rostovic, and The Witcher’s Anya Chalotra as the supervillain Circe.

A project between DC Studios and Warner Bros. Animation, Creature Commandos is executive produced by Gunn, Safran, Sam Register, and Dean Lorey.
