What is the plot of Moana 2?
Set three years after the events of the first film, Moana (Auliʻi Cravalho) embarks on another adventure after she receives a message from her wayfinding ancestors. Armed with a new mission, she reunites with Maui (Dwayne Johnson) and forms her own crew.
FeaturedSailing the far seas of Oceania, she intends to connect the people of the ocean once again by breaking an ancient curse. In doing so, they awaken the wrath of an old enemy Kakamora, as well as confront a new foe in Matangi, an underworld goddess.
The sequel to Moana is directed by David Derrick Jr., Jason Hand, and Dana Ledoux Miller from a screenplay written by Miller and Jared Bush. Christina Chen and Yvett Merino serve as producers.
