What is Agatha Christie’s Murder Is Easy about?

Agatha Christie’s Murder Is Easy begins with Luke Fitzwilliam’s (David Jonsson) chance encounter with Miss Lavinia Pinkerton (Penelope Wilton) on a train.

Arriving from Nigeria, the Whitehall-bound young man finds himself immersed in Miss Pinkerton’s revelations of murders in the English village of Wychwood under Ashe.

She also tells him of her plan to go to Scotland Yard to report these crimes, which the townspeople believe are merely accidents, and report to the authorities who the next target is.

When Miss Pinkerton is found dead on her way to the police, Fitzwilliam finds it necessary to head to the village, a place where murder is easy, and unmask the real killer himself.

But in a village where people don’t suspect anything awful or that one of them is capable of murder, proving that someone out there is killing is harder than he ever anticipated.

The murder mystery drama is adapted for television by Siân Ejiwunmi-Le Berre, directed by Meenu Gaur, and produced by Karen Kelly.
