Joining South Park’s roster of TV specials is 2024’s “The End of Obesity”, a parody of the rising use of the much publicised Ozempic, and coming after last year’s “Joining The Panderverse”.
In the new South Park exclusive event, weight loss drugs hit the town by storm, impacting everyone including Eric Cartman. But when he’s denied access to this revolutionary medicine, the boys decide to take matters into their own hands, because, well, these weight loss meds are supposed to be life-changing.

What is South Park: The End of Obesity about?
The long-running sitcom will tackle weight loss drugs and their impact on people (they’re not going to take things seriously, of course) in its new exclusive event The End of Obesity.
As per the official synopsis, “the advent of new weight-loss drugs impacting everyone in South Park. When Cartman is denied access to the life-changing medicine, the kids jump into action.”
Paramount+ has also released the official trailer for the new exclusive event, which shows an overweight Cartman being taken to the doctor, who went on to say that drastic measures are now required to reduce his weight.
And by drastic the doctor meant weight loss drugs like Omezpic. But there’s a much bigger problem – Cartman can’t get his hands on these new drugs so the gang is set to do something even more dangerous, which, of course, only makes them want to do it more.
Produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and written and directed by creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, South Park: End of Obesity streaming on Paramount+ from May 25. It’ll be fun.
