Both seasons of Channel 4’s new sitcom Big Boys have just made its streaming premiere in Australia. Created by Jack Rooke (Happy Man), it follows a fictionalised version of himself attending university and exploring his sexuality for the first time.
It stars Derry Girls actor Dylan Llewellyn and Plebs star Jon Pointing in main roles, playing university roommates. Despite their personalities being the exact opposite, they bond over struggles they prefer hidden, helping each other as they navigate their new lives.
Big Boys garnered much praise from both critics and audiences, being a comedy with a big heart. With new episodes dropping soon, find out when and where you can watch Big Boys Season 2 right here.

What is the plot of Big Boys?
19-year-old Jack (Llewellyn) finally attends university for the first time. Earlier, he deferred his spot following his father’s passing. Heading for college this time to study journalism, his timid personality makes it tougher for him to get used to the social chaos of college life.
Enter Danny, a 25-year-old mature student who’s always looking for fun. Constantly active and outgoing, he is Jack’s exact opposite. But when an administrative error sets them up as roommates, they eventually realise they need each other and living together may be a good idea after all.
Forming a strong bond, they become each other’s strength as they deal with their respective struggles – Jack is still grieving his father’s death and Danny secretly suffers from mental health issues.
Together, they learn more about themselves as they explore, experiment, and ultimately find their place.
