There’s Something Wrong with the Children preview

In the 2023 horror movie, There’s Something Wrong with the Children, Margaret and Ben decide to take a weekend trip with longtime friends Ellie and Thomas, along with their two young children, Lucy and Spencer. Their plan is to enjoy a peaceful camping experience in the woods, surrounded by nature’s beauty.

As the group settles into the campsite, the kids behave strangely, particularly after disappearing briefly and catching a glimpse of a mysterious green light emanating from an old building nearby. Unbeknownst to the four adults, this strange encounter seems to have affected Lucy and Spencer in an inexplicable way.

Throughout the night, they engage in tales of horror and suspense, not knowing that the real terror is about to unfold. As morning dawns, the situation takes a terrifying turn when it’s discovered that the kids are missing. Panic and fear grip the group as they frantically search the woods.

Ben begins to suspect that the children went to explore the creepy cave they had previously explored and rushes there, fearing for their safety. To his horror, he witnesses them standing at the edge of the cave and, without hesitation, leap seemingly to their death. Panicked, he returns to the cabins, only to be confronted with an even more unsettling scene: Lucy and Spencer running around, alive and well.

But the day is bound to get more unsettling after the kids had disappeared into the woods overnight. As their behaviour turns more alarmingly bizarre, the grown ups struggle to maintain a sense of reality, haunted by the question of what’s really going on, because something is terribly wrong with the children.
