A period psychological thriller inspired from by the 1981 true story novel, “The Minds of Billy Milligan” by Daniel Keyes, The Crowded Room follows the story of Danny Sullivan, portrayed by Tom Holland. Following his arrest for his involvement in a New York City shooting in 1979, Danny begins to unveil the secrets of his life through a series of intense interviews with interrogator Rya Goodwin, played by Amanda Seyfried.
Danny’s life story unfolds as he thoroughly recounts his mysterious past, providing Rya and the audience with glimpses into the pivotal moments that ultimately led him to the fateful incident.
