Rennervations documentary preview
Jeremy Renner is a construction aficionado, highly invested in repurposing decommissioned government vehicles for unique purposes. In his new show, “Rennervations,” produced by Boardwalk Pictures for Disney+, Renner, and his team identify decommissioned vehicles and, with the help of a highly creative fabricator culture, turn them into purpose-built vehicles such as a mobile music studio, a mobile water treatment facility, and a mobile recreation center.
Rennervations takes viewers behind the big screen to see the fabricator culture that exists across the globe. The show is set in four locations: Renner’s hometown of Reno, Chicago, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and Rajasthan, India. In each location, Renner and his team meet with local communities to learn about their needs and build purpose-built vehicles to meet those needs.
The driving force behind the show is lead mechanic Corey Wardleigh and lead fabricator Rob “Bender” Park, along with the rest of the build crew, including Justin Self, Roxy Bonilla, Merri Oswald, Akamu “AK” Whatley, Skiland “Ski” Judd, Ryan Gunter, and Nick Socha. The show is executive produced by Renner, Millikin, Romilda De Luca, Andrew Fried, Dane Lillegard, Sarina Roma, and Patrick Costello.
