Emmy-nominated actress Kathryn Hahn takes on the role of Clare, a woman whose life is on the verge of breaking apart. And just when she thinks she’s hit rock bottom, an unexpected job offer presents itself: to become an advice columnist known as Dear Sugar. Believing it to be ironic and ridiculous to give anyone advice considering her own life is falling apart, she said no until she ultimately, hesitantly said yes.
As it turns out, giving life advice to those who need guidance is the very thing she needs in order to rediscover herself and value the experiences she’s had along the way. Dropping on streaming TV in April, find out more about the new Tiny Beautiful Things series and where you can watch it right here.

Tiny Beautiful Things TV series preview
Things could’ve been better for Clare, a woman whose marriage with her husband Danny only deteriorates each passing day. Then there’s her teenage daughter who always keeps her distance, made worse by their inability to relate and really listen to each other. She finds no professional satisfaction in her career whatsoever, especially since her once promising writing career no longer exists.
So when an old writing colleague asks her to take over as the revered advice columnist Dear Sugar, she naturally has misgivings about her abilities to provide advice. When she eventually takes on the role, she finds a way to use her life experiences, weaving them together and getting something beautiful out of it, either to enlighten or give solace. In the process, she rediscovers her most pivotal moments, from childhood to present day, explores old wounds, and reclaims the hope and love of life that she has lost.
Tiny Beautiful Things is based on the best-selling collection of stories by acclaimed author Cheryl Strayed (who also serves as an executive producer), adapted for television by Liz Tigelaar (Life Unexpected). A joint venture between ABC Signature and Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine, other executive producers also include Laura Dern, Lauren Neustadter, Stacey Silverman, Jayme Lemons, and lead star Kathryn Hahn herself.
