Based on the life of rapper and comedian Dave Burd (also known for his stage name Lil Dicky), Dave follows the titular character on his quest to greatness, or so he thinks. Eccentric and armed with big ambitions, Dave adopts an outlandish approach to gaining fame, in addition to many other gimmicks, both inspiring and exasperating his friends. Fortunately for fans, Dave returns for a third season in April after nearly two years. Find out how you can watch episodes from Dave Season 3 using this guide.
What’s in this Guide?
Dave TV series preview
In Dave, a TV series that also showcases Lil Dicky’s rap persona, a neurotic man in his late 20s is convinced he’s got what it takes to be one of the best rappers of all time. But before he can impress the world with his talent, he needs to persuade his friends first.
As he’s really trying so hard to squeeze his way in, Dave finally gets the chance to discuss a possible record deal, leading him to encounter popular musicians and opening the way for his first Hollywood party where Dave rubs elbows with Kourtney Kardashian. Also, Dave asks Gata to be his hype man.
In Dave Season 2, he’s finally made things happen after landing a recording deal. However, the road to stardom is not without speed bumps and so Dave must figure out how to follow through on his debut album.
In the upcoming Dave Season 3, Dave’s career seems to be on the right track as he headlines his first tour. But as he experiences his country’s cultural diversity while on the road, Dave ponders and discovers the hard way how fame often puts strain on love and friendship.
Created by star Dave Burd himself alongside Jeff Schaffer, Dave is a surprisingly self-aware show that shines in its humour, great character development, and even emotional depth that improved as the show went along.
Dave also features several celebrity cameos and guest appearances with the likes of Macklemore, Marshmello, and Justin Bieber appearing in the first season. Kevin Hart, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner, and Doja Cat have also appeared in the second season.
The new third season, meanwhile, features guest celebrity appearances from Demi Lovato, Don Cheadle, Machine Gun Kelly, Megan Fox, Travis Barker, Usher and more.
