Black Panther: Wakanda Forever finally hits streaming TV next month with a confirmed release date on Disney Plus, finally launching on 1st February. It’s been more than two months since it first had its theatrical run in Australia, so it’s only high time for the movie to drop on Disney’s streaming platform soon.
A sequel to Marvel Studios’ Black Panther, Wakanda Forever is a bittersweet tribute that effectively continues the franchise, allowing it to organically move on to the next chapter of the kingdom of Wakanda and its people.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever preview
Black Panther 2 follows the leaders of Wakanda as they protect their once-hidden nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. Under pressure to share their valuable resource, the vibranium, with some organisations resorting to violence to steal, the country’s need for a new protector becomes more apparent. But their immeasurable grief also prevents them from choosing a new Black Panther.
Leading the Wakandans to embrace their strength and the nation’s new chapter is King T’Challa’s mother Queen Ramonda and his sister Shuri. Black Panther writer and director Ryan Coogler resumed his directorial duties in Wakanda Forever, also writing the screenplay alongside Joe Robert Cole (American Crime Story).
