The House of Gucci movie, a tale of love, fame, deception and betrayal that spans decades, finally premieres on streaming TV this month after its successful theatrical run earlier this year. Gucci is an iconic emblem in the fashion industry, but its dishy family history is as shocking and intriguing as it’ll ever be. The film chronicles the tragic fall of Gucci family members after Patrizia Reggiani (Lady Gaga) manipulates the Italian fashion house.
Based on Sara Gay Forden’s novel The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed, auteur director Ridley Scott transforms the story into a cinematic treat bolstered by its ensemble cast and acting, most notably Lady Gaga’s performance.

House of Gucci movie preview
House of Gucci follows Patrizia Reggiani, the notorious ‘black widow’ who had her husband, Maurizio Gucci, killed. From being on top of the world, the Italian family empire who’s behind the famous fashion house Gucci, slowly loses their control over the luxury brand when Reggiani, an outsider, marries Maurizio. Her crazy ambition begins to sabotage the family legacy, sparking betrayal, greed, revenge and, ultimately, murder.
More than the insidious manipulation and the dramatic turn of events that fueled the Gucci family’s dark and twisted fate, House of Gucci also showcases a star-studded cast headlined by Lady Gaga and embellished with her iconic wardrobes, and of course, Adam Driver in his cable knit sweater. That’s as fashionable as you can get. Al Pacino and Jared Leto also star as Aldo and Paolo Gucci, respectively.
