Friends Reunion TV preview
When it aired in the 1990s and 2000s, it’s easy to say that Friends was one of the most popular TV series on the planet – a true global hit that is still watched by millions today. Fans have been screaming out for new episodes since it all ended in 2004.
The show gave us unforgettable storylines involving Ross and Racheal’s ‘break’, Joey’s acting on Days of Our Lives along with Phoebe’s ‘Smelly Cat’! And who could forget the one where Monica woke up next to Chandler?
David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry and Matt Le Blanc gave us plenty of laughs over the years, playing six young New Yorkers living in Manhatten. Now, they are coming back together for an unscripted celebration of everything Friends. Think of it as a best of, including on set interviews and a whole heap of celebrity cameos.
This two-hour, HBO Max reunion special takes the crew back to Stage 24 studios where they filmed the original series. It’s as heartwarming as it is funny, with the group picking out their favourite moments from 236 episodes. There are also a few non-scripted sketches that give us a glimpse of what Friends would be like now, with all the characters looking a little older!
Special guests on the Reunion include Lady Gaga, David Beckham, Justin Bieber, Tom Selleck, Cindy Crawford, Kit Harington, James Cordon and Reese Witherspoon. Ben Winston directs with original Friends producers, Kevin Bright, Marta Kauffman, and David Crane.
So, get ready to take another trip to Central Perk, Chandler & Joey’s place, Monica’s apartment – all whilst seeing some very familiar faces along the way.
