A Discovery of Witches Season 3 preview
A Discovery of Witches Season 3 continues the remaining stories on the Deborah Harkness trilogy of All Souls novels. After magically travelling back to 1590, Diana and Matthew must find their way back to the present time to save their loved ones from Peter Knox, especially with the sinister witch’s fascination with Sophie’s newborn baby, as well as find the missing pages from the Book of Life.
Returning proves to be more complex than it is with Matthew’s past catching up with him. For now, Diana and Matthew’s families are safe within the walls of Sept Tours, but the paramount threat that is Peter Knox proves to be as persistent as ever. Even with Diana being more powerful, will they manage to get back just in time to beat him?
It doesn’t seem to be the case when Diana and Matthew go back only to find tragedy. Another mystery that needs resolving asap is the vampire who’s been feasting on Oxford residents while Matthew has been MIA. Is vampire Domenico getting closer to discovering the killer’s identity? Tune in to Season 3 to find out.
A Discovery of Witches Season 3 is also proving to be more intensified with shocking twists. Following the death of Diana’s aunt, Emily, viewers can expect an all-out war between vampires, witches, and even demons.
Moreover, fans will see most of the main characters returning for the final third season. However, fans have yet to know whether other characters introduced in the second season during the Elizabethan era will return for season 3 or not, including Matthew’s nephew, Gallowglass.
