Fans have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the new season of DC Universe’s Legends of Tomorrow. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is a longstanding TV series that completed its sixth season on September 5th, 2021, leaving fans wanting more. Thankfully, the wait isn’t too long! Fans can expect season 7 of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow to air this October. Find out how to watch new episodes here.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Season 7 preview
This American superhero television series was created by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg, and Phil Klemmer and is based on the characters of DC Comics. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is a one-of-its-kind show that is a spin-off of a larger universe that includes characters such as The Flash (Barry Allen) and Arrow (Oliver Queen).
The series completed six successful seasons, with the last season leaving viewers on a cliffhanger as the Legends find themselves stranded in 1925 Texas. Season 7 will pick up where the previous season left off. Stranded way back in the past and causing unwanted attention because of their power, our favourite super-powered misfits find themselves meeting J. Edgar Hoover.
The new FBI director will apparently be hot on their tails as they scramble to return to their own timeline. With their timeship, Waverider, blown to pieces in the season 6 finale, it’ll be interesting to see how the Legends will manage without their mobile base of operations. Find out when the new season premieres this month.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow series recap
In the pilot episode, time-travelling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of heroes and villains to beat a seemingly unstoppable threat. And as it turns out, it can devastatingly affect not only Earth but also the planet’s entire timeline.
Taking on the dire task of stopping an immortal threat unlike anything they’ve dealt with before are Ray Palmer (the Atom), Sara Lance (White Canary), Martin Stein, Jax Jackson (Firestorm), Kendra Saunders (Hawkgirl), Carter Hall (Hawkman), Leonard Snart (Captain Cold), and Mick Rory (Heat Wave). Can Rip Hunter’s ragtag team defeat a formidable foe in the form of Vandal Savage? Check out the complete first season to find out.
While DC’s Legends of Tomorrow was not well-received during its first few episodes, the series has since gained traction over the years, starting with a much better second season. After a tragic loss and the defeat of the Time Masters, Rip Hunter and his recruits, now called Legends, continue to protect the world from those villains who attempt to mess with the planet’s timeline in season 2. This time, the Legends discover Earth’s new threat, the Legion of Doom, a group of supervillains who are constantly up to no good and want to use an ancient artifact to distort reality to their advantage.
Six seasons in and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow continues to deliver thrilling conflicts and gratifying resolutions. They have battled with all kinds of villains, from immortal tyrants to demons and space aliens to magical creatures. New characters and stronger emphasis on comedy in later seasons also proved effective in making the series a more compelling watch.
