With a big summer of cricket set to take place over the coming months it will be difficult to stay on top of all the action, but using the information provided here you won’t have to miss a minute when watching live on TV or streaming the matches to a mobile device.
The recently launched Kayo enables sports lovers to watch more of what they want than ever before. A dedicated sports streaming service, Kayo allows you to stream the latest in international and local action live on a wide range of devices.
India 2019 Tour of Australia
India’s tour will be the focal point of the Australian summer of cricket, visiting Down Under for three T20I’s, four Tests, and finally three ODI’s in a tour which will span just under two months. As always, the Test Series will form the bulk of the Tour, as the two sides fight it out for a Border-Gavaskar Trophy – punctuated by the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne and the New Year’s Test in Sydney. The trophy has been won by the home side on the past seven occasions, but with former captain Steve Smith and former vice-captain David Warner still suspended, India will give themselves a huge chance on Australian soil.
With the 2019 World Cup nearing, the India vs Australia Cricket ODI series will also draw plenty of interest, particularly given the recent struggles of the men in green and gold. Australia has dropped to sixth in the world rankings in the 50-over format in what has been a disappointing stretch, and will be up against it once again against an Indian team which beat them 4-1 on the sub-continent earlier in the year. With a batting lineup which has shown a tendency to come up short in recent months, this will be a great opportunity for the young side to test itself against one of the best ODI teams in the world.
India vs Australia TV Broadcast Rights
Every minute of the India ‘down under’ tour will be streamed live on Kayo Sports, the recently launched streaming service that’s supported by Foxtel but at a significantly reduced monthly cost and without all the extra channels as shown in this Kayo Sports Plans table. Subscribers will have access to every T20I, ODI and Test match as it happens, while those who miss the best bits will be able to catch up on demand. On top of that, Kayo users will be able to catch the game wherever they may be, with the streaming service offering subscribers the ability to stream to a range of devices, including mobiles, tablets and PCs.
New free to air cricket broadcaster Channel Seven will also provide coverage of the tour, though it will be significantly more limited than what the Kayo Sports TV guide is offering. Seven will broadcast all of the Test matches, but none of the three T20I’s or three ODI’s will be televised. A further drawback of the free-to-air coverage is that it won’t be available on Seven’s streaming app 7Plus, meaning you’ll need to be home and in front of your TV to catch the action.
